The selection procedure in IMABEE depends on each Home university. A common aim of each university in the IMABEE consortium is to enroll the best possible students (see who can apply?).
The language of instruction and examination of the study programs (at least in the second year of the Master) is English. Thus, a specific language policy is adopted.
To be enrolled within IMABEE, the minimal test scores will depend on each university and are as follows:
IELTS 6.5, CLES B1, TOEFL paper-based test (580 in Rennes and Amsterdam, 560 in Aarhus, 567 in Göttingen), TOEFLcomputer-based test (237 in Rennes), TOEFL Internet-based test (92-93 in Rennes and Amsterdam, 83 in Aarhus, 85 in Göttingen), Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) score (pass is the “score” in Aarhus and Amsterdam, at least grade “C” in Göttingen), Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) score (pass is the “score” in Aarhus and Amsterdam, at least grade “B” in Göttingen).
Students who received their bachelor degree from one of the partner institutions may make use of local/institutional requirements for documentation of language proficiency to gain acceptance. If TOEFL’s/pre-defined tests organized by the partner institutions are used, neither of these tests results must be more than two years-old at the time of application.
